We really enjoyed the restaurant.  Something off from the usual, this restaurant had good food and drink options.

L'Effet Boeuf

Once again a very nice meal at the 44. Good choice of options, well cooked and well presented.

We couldn&#39;t speak French, so the staff tried to speak English which was kind and helped us a lot. Unfortunately it took long before someone arrived at our table to take our orders.

4th time here. Medium, medium rare pur steaks served overdone. Unimpressive steak sauces. Very small salads but with nice vinaigrette. Very tasty boiled potatoes. Good frites.  Slow service and some lack of attention for further requests during the meal (almost abandonment).High price for the quality, this time

Great location and atmosphere! The staff was friendly and had a great deal of patience with our lack of French. Will visit again! Definitely recommend .
